Fully clothed, in a chair, wherever you are
No table, no oil, no undressing — and it reaches necks, shoulders and upper backs without anyone having to lie down.

An ordinary kitchen chair is all I need
I bring a proper seated setup, or we use a chair you already have. You stay in your own clothes the whole time and there is nothing to get on or off.
The work through the neck, shoulders and upper back is the same work I would do on a table. It just happens sitting up.
When this is the right answer
When getting down onto a table and back up again is the hard part of the day. When lying flat is uncomfortable, or you get short of breath, or a hip will not allow it.
And when you have never had a massage before and the undressing is the bit putting you off. Staying dressed removes the whole question.
Questions
Do I stay dressed?
Completely. No oil, no draping, nothing to change out of.
Can you do this for someone who cannot really tell you what they need?
Yes. We go slowly and I watch rather than ask. Whoever knows them best should tell me what a good day looks like and what they do not like, and I take my cue from that.
Is it as good as a table session?
It reaches the neck, shoulders and upper back. It does not reach much else, so for a full body at depth you want a table or a bed.
