An unhurried hour, and nothing to drive home from

Not everything has to be a project. Sometimes the right session is a full hour of unhurried, flowing work and nowhere to be afterwards.

A massage table made up with soft linens and a folded blanket in a quiet room.

Full time at the studio — 3589 E Gulf to Lake Hwy, Inverness, inside Deb's Touch of Paradise Massage. In-home visits as needed for established clients. New clients are seen at the studio first. Florida licence MA78217.

What it is

Long, flowing strokes at a moderate pressure, over the whole body or wherever you want the time spent. It is the session most people picture when they picture massage, and it is a perfectly good reason to book.

It is not a lesser version of deep tissue. It is a different job.

The part that is different here

You do not drive home afterwards. That sounds small until you have had a good massage and then sat in traffic for twenty-five minutes putting all of it back.

If you are not sure which to book

Book anything and tell me on the phone what you are after. I will bring what suits and we will do the session you actually need rather than the one you happened to click.

Questions

What is the difference between Swedish and deep tissue?

Pressure and intent. Swedish is flowing and moderate and covers ground. Deep tissue is slower, more specific and goes after a particular thing. Neither is better; they answer different questions.

Do I have to undress?

Keep on whatever you want to keep on. You stay covered the whole time and only the area I am working on is uncovered. You never have to ask me about this.

Can I just have my back and shoulders?

Yes. It is your hour. Tell me where you want it spent.
